Trina Lynn Floyd was born February 24, 1975 to Leonard Floyd and Thelma Reed.  She grew up in Mona Park neighborhood where she attended Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary, Ralph J. Bunche Junior High and Centennial Senior High School.
