Ms. Trina Lynn Floyd

Trina Lynn Floyd was born February 24, 1975 to Leonard Floyd and Thelma Reed.  She grew up in Mona Park neighborhood where she attended Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary, Ralph J. Bunche Junior High and Centennial Senior High School. Trina was quite the character in the neighborhood.  She loved when the summer came because she couldn't stay out of the Mona Park swimming pool.  Trina and her brother Kevin were thick as thieves, constantly getting into neighborhood mischiefs and running carefree. Trina became a teen mother at the age of 17 and motherhood forever changed her life.  She took great care of her baby and prided herself for being a wonderful parent.  Years later she gave birth to her second child and settled in as a mom.  In 2009, Trina earned a certificate for Nursing assistance from Everest College.

Trina's health soon began to decline, making it difficult for her to thrive and complete everyday tasks.  On February 7, 2023, Trina answered God's call home.  She leaves to cherish her mother Thelma Reed, her two daughters Michelle Davis & Shaycoyia Millender, three grandchildren, Michele, Aniya, and Kiuan, her sister Monique and brother-in-law Hans Walton, sister Nicole Wilson, brother's Dion and Eric Reed, brother June Floyd, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Her father Leonard Floyd, sister Maxine Floyd, and brother's Larry and Kevin Floyd, proceeded her in death.  Trina will be greatly missed.
